1. Services Provided

Signed & Sealed Michigan Notary Services, LLC provides mobile notary services, loan signing services, apostille facilitation, and related services by appointment only.

2. Notarial Limitations

I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. I do not prepare legal documents or advise on document content.

3. Identification Requirements

All signers must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the time of appointment. Documents must be complete and unsigned prior to notarization.

4. Appointment & Travel

Appointments are scheduled in advance. Travel fees may apply based on location, time, and service type.

5. Fees

Notarial fees are charged in accordance with Michigan state law. Additional fees may apply for travel, printing, convenience, after-hours service, or specialized services.

All fees will be disclosed prior to confirming the appointment.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure an appointment and will be applied toward the total service fee.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• A minimum of [insert your preference: 2–4 hours] notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled appointment if proper notice is given.

• Same-day cancellations or failure to be present at the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

8. No-Show Policy

If the signer is not present, does not have proper identification, or documents are incomplete or pre-signed when notarization requires witnessing, the appointment may be canceled and fees may still apply.

9. Refusal of Service

Services may be refused if:

• Proper identification is not provided

• The signer appears unwilling, unaware, or under duress

• The request violates Michigan notary laws

10. Apostille & Facilitation Services

Apostille services are provided as a facilitation service only. Processing times are dependent on the Michigan Secretary of State and are outside of our control. State fees are separate and non-refundable.

11. Limitation of Liability

Signed & Sealed Michigan Notary Services, LLC is not responsible for the legality, accuracy, or content of any documents notarized. Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and correct prior to the appointment.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page.
